The land for this market was acquired in 1981-82. The area of the sub-market is spread over 2.84 hectares (6.91 acres). All regular agricultural products are received in this sub-market. The main business in this sub-market is in soybean, gram, jowar, groundnut, wheat, urad, moong, sesame, orange, citrus, cattle, goats and sheep, and cotton. The reason behind starting this market premises was to enable the farmers near Kondhali in Katol taluka to sell their agricultural produce at nearby Kondhali without having to carry it further. This market premises was established by the then board of directors of Katol Agricultural Produce Market Committee on 20 January 1983. There are 03 auction sheds and 01 agricultural produce godown in this market premises. A godown was constructed in this sub-market premises by Katol Agricultural Produce Market Committee in the year 1986-87. The installed capacity of the godown is 1000 MT. For those farmers who are in need of money and do not want to sell their farm produce at the current low market price, the market committee has implemented a farm produce pledge scheme implemented by the marketing board. For this, the farmer's good quality farm produce is stored in the committee's godown in 95 kg of bardana bharti and in return, he is paid 75% of the value of his farm produce as per the current market price from the pledge scheme. The market committee charges 6% interest for 180 days on the amount given as pledge to the farmer.
